So I guess you've come here to learn more about me.

I am Horisuzu of Oregon
I Apprenticed under Ryugen Sensei of Tokyo, Japan
I have been tattooing for 10 years

I feel a great sense of pride and connection to those that came before me. I thank Ryugen Sensei for his guidence. I have been honored to be given the working title of Horisuzu by him. I represent to the best of my ability the values, skills and insight that i have been handed down.

With that guidence I represent the Traditional Japanese Tattoo here in the Northwestern United States. I am one of only a handful of tebori (tattooing by hand) artists working inside the continental United States who studied under a Japanese master.

Tattooing is the only profession I've ever known and I will continue to tattoo until my hands give out and I pass into the next realm of existence.
